This policy explains how Nembra handles your account, private library, subscriptions, and any analytics or advertising services we enable.

01

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run your private library and the services you choose to use.

  • Account information: your email address, account ID, sign-in state, and preferences.
  • Android beta information: the Google Account email you submit, signup timestamp, application status, and invitation delivery history.
  • Library content: links, notes, collections, search queries, and the metadata, public-page text, thumbnails, and transcripts available from links you ask us to process.
  • Service and diagnostic data: records of saves, searches, processing status, device or browser details, IP address, and security or reliability events.
  • Subscription data: plan, entitlement, purchase, and restore status. The app does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
  • Advertising, analytics, and measurement data when those services are enabled: device or advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, approximate location inferred from IP.
02

How we use information

We use information to create and secure your account, save and organize your content, process links, return search results, provide support, send requested launch availability updates, enforce plan limits, and maintain the reliability of Nembra.

We may also use service and device information to understand product performance, measure campaigns, prevent fraud, and show or measure advertising where permitted. We do not use your saved links, notes, private search queries, or extracted private-library content to build advertising audiences or personalize ads.

03

Service providers and sharing

We share only the information needed for a provider to perform its role for Nembra. Current provider categories include:

  • Infrastructure and account services: Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and backend services.
  • Content-processing providers: providers may receive a URL and the public information needed to obtain metadata, transcripts, or search embeddings for content you ask us to process.
  • Subscriptions: RevenueCat helps us manage purchase entitlements. Google Play or the Apple App Store processes the purchase itself.
  • Analytics, attribution, and advertising providers: these are used only when enabled for the applicable app, campaign, or region and are subject to the choices described below.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the service, or the public. We do not sell your saved content.

04

Tracking, analytics, and advertising choices

Nembra may use analytics, attribution, and advertising technologies to measure how the service is used and to fund or promote it. These technologies can use cookies, SDKs, local storage, pixels, or device identifiers. On this website, Google Analytics 4 starts automatically when you visit the production website. It measures page visits and steps such as demo use, Android beta signup, and account actions. We do not send your email address, password, demo search text, private-library content, or authentication callback URL as event details.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Where consent is required for personalized advertising, advertising measurement, or similar app tracking, we will show a clear consent choice before enabling that processing. You can change applicable app choices through in-app privacy controls when available, device advertising settings, or relevant provider controls. If you decline personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads.

We do not allow advertising partners to read your saved links, notes, collections, private search queries, or extracted content.

05

Subscriptions and payments

Nembra offers Free and Pro plans. Subscription payments are processed by the app store you use, not directly by Nembra. RevenueCat helps us determine whether your account has an active entitlement and supports purchase restoration.

You can manage or cancel a store subscription through the relevant app store. Store purchase records, receipts, and payment methods are governed by that store's privacy policy and terms.

06

Retention, deletion, and your controls

You can edit or delete saved links and collections in the app. We retain account and library information while your account is active, then delete the account and associated personal data after a verified deletion request, ordinarily within 30 days.

We retain an Android beta application while the beta is active or until you ask us to remove it. Legacy waitlist entries remain private and are not treated as beta applications unless you submit the Android Beta form. You can request removal at hello@nembra.app.

We may retain limited information for longer where needed for security, fraud prevention, financial records, legal obligations, or backup recovery. You can request access, correction, deletion, or privacy help at hello@nembra.app.

07

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Nembra and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. When we do, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

08

Children, changes, and contact

Nembra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We may update this policy as the product or its providers change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

For questions about this policy, your data, advertising choices, or subscriptions, email hello@nembra.app.
